The brethren of William L. Elkins Lodge No. 271 invite you to assist them in beautifying the historic Mount Moriah Cemetery and Arboretum—the final resting place for dozens of 18th and 19th century Freemasons from the Greater Philadelphia area—which had fallen into disrepair following its closure in 2011. Volunteers will be asked to help with grounds maintenanceby mowing the lawns, trimming overgrown vegetation, weed whacking, and repairing the cemetery’s gates, tombstones and obelisks. The work will principally be done in the cemetery’s Circle of Saint John section (also known as the Mason’s Circle).
